The Doo Cup this year was held on 18 July in truly atrocious wind and rain. Colin Biggar ended the winner with three trout for 3lb 10oz, narrowly beating Alan Small into second place by just 2oz.

Our Junior fly fishing Cup is being held on Sunday 23rd June 2019 commencing at 2pm. It will last for 2-3 hours and will be fishing from the boat. A fantastic opportunity for our Junior members to fish competitively and the chance to have your name engraved on the Junior Cup.
Club member James Hendrie brought his young grandson, Bradley Campbell who is 4 years old, over to the loch on Saturday for his first ever experience of fishing and he caught his first fish. Our first competition of the new fishing season took place on Sunday 7th April. The Spring Cup is a bank or wading competition, with the heaviest bag of four trout weighed in. Our annual prize giving evening was held at Lenzie Rugby Club on the evening of March 13th. As has become customary, John Sackey, was MC for the evening, and chaired proceedings.
