Our first competition of the new fishing season took place on Sunday 7th April. The Spring Cup is a bank or wading competition, with the heaviest bag of four trout weighed in. The winner this year was Edward Scott with a total weight of brown trout caught of 1.988 kg, helped along by also catching the heaviest fish, which weighed in at 0.614 kg (around 1 lb 7 oz).
