The winner of today’s (rather windy) Summer Cup was Mark Anderson with three fish. Well done Elmo! Bert Noon (pictured top) caught the heaviest fish at 2lb 4oz or whatever that is in new money.
Club President Jim Twaddle (bottom pic) was onto a bit of interesting alternative action today, with a sizeable perch caught at around 1 lb this morning followed by this nice double perch hookup this afternoon. We haven’t seen the perch in the same numbers as last year (their numbers tend to fluctuate quite markedly from year to year) but there are obviously still a great many of them in the loch.
