It’s been a while since we provided an update that wasn’t a brief announcement on Twitter, but with last season disrupted due to the global pandemic, and this close season feeling like the longest on record, it didn’t feel like we had much good news to share. However, with the promise of spring very much in the air, it was time to put the boats out this weekend. A group of hardy souls masked up and performed the socially distanced deed. And once more we are all set for the start of a brand new trout season. We are, of course, very much hoping this season won’t be as affected as last. But with the vaccination programme proceeding apace we are quietly confident it will be a season to remember. For all the right reasons this time.
